Donald Trump’s team shared what is now his official portrait as President of the United States (US), an image that many people have considered to be a mockery of his mugshot photograph.
At the end of August 2023, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office released the mugshot of the businessman, who will be inaugurated on January 20 in a ceremony that will feature US politicians and figures from around the world.
The businessman was in the Fulton County jail due to a summons for 13 criminal charges he was facing at that time. His mugshot was taken, and he was released after posting a 200,000 dollars bond, following an agreement with the prosecution for his temporary release.

Photographer Daniel Torok was responsible for capturing the image of the businessman as the 47th president of the United States. He also shared the official portrait of JD Vance, who will be Trump’s vice president, on his X account.
The image went viral due to its resemblance to the photograph taken for his mugshot. This happened just four days before his inauguration.
The businessman’s team stated that this image aims to convey authority and determination—values that would define his second presidential term.

According to some mexican experts, during his first administration, he had the possibility of being reelected, which is why he was more measured. Since this time he won’t have the concern of staying in power for longer, they argue that he will make more controversial decisions.
The businessman will be the second president in U.S. history to serve non-consecutive terms. The first was Grover Cleveland, in 1892.
Additionally, he is the first president in U.S. history to be convicted in a criminal trial, for the crime of falsifying business records to silence an affair with former adult film star Stormy Daniels.
