Financial Overview
The total estimated cost for the Northeast Corridor project is approximately $927.3 million, with federal funding expected to cover about 42% of this amount. The Florida Department of Transportation has also committed an additional $200 million, representing around 22% of the total cost.The remaining funds will come from the People’s Transportation Plan (PTP). Commissioner Marleine Bastien remarked that “this project promises to democratize mobility for all residents, particularly enhancing transport options for underserved communities.”
