The International Tourism Fair (Fitur) 2025, which will take place from January 22 to 26, expects to welcome over 250,000 visitors, who will generate an economic impact of nearly 445 million euros (mde) in Madrid.
The largest event in the sector is celebrating its 45th edition, and for this reason, it will feature nine pavilions at the Madrid Fair Institution (Ifema), with 9,500 participating companies.
As a testament to its significance, this year it will host 156 countries and 884 exhibitors, who will seek to promote the most important attractions of their home countries.
José Vicente de los Mozos, President of the Executive Committee of Ifema Madrid, said that in 2024 all parameters were surpassed and there was new growth, which demonstrates not only its great appeal but also its importance. For this reason, it is expected that Fitur 2025 will exceed the previously set limits.
Brand Mexico will be one of the participants in the world’s most important tourism event, promoting several of its natural and cultural attractions.

This time, the collaboration of our nation is essential as it will be the Partner Country of the fair. This marks a milestone in the extraordinary journey that Mexico has undertaken in recent years in the tourism sector.
Authorities stated that sectors such as mobility, hospitality, culture, and leisure will be the main beneficiaries of the economic impact generated by the fair.
The International Tourism Fair will feature 10 sections in 2025, which will promote businesses related to tourism. Each area will address a specific concern or need for tourists, ranging from the sustainability of cruise travel to screen tourism and language tourism.
FITUR 2025, where thousands of people from all over the world are expected to attend to represent the best destinations and essential companies for tourism, will take place from January 22 to 26 in Madrid.
