The presidents invited to Donald Trump’s inauguration are preparing to be present at the ceremony, which will take place in the United States on January 20.
The businessman will be the second president in U.S. history to serve non-consecutive terms. The first was Grover Cleveland in 1892.
However, throughout his campaign and during his first term in office, he faced several confrontations with heads of state from other parts of the world, as well as tense relations with governments, such as in recent months with Claudia Sheinbaum’s administration and previously with former presidents Peña Nieto and Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

The presidents who were not invited to Donald Trump’s inauguration
Despite having a close relationship with the U.S. government, Presidents Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not receive an invitation, although private meetings with the magnate are expected.
Donald Trump’s inauguration will also not include the presence of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un or Russian President Vladimir Putin, with whom the elected president had several confrontations in the past over geopolitical interests.
Trump’s return, a path with obstacles
Donald Trump’s return to the U.S. presidency comes after several events that marked setbacks in his life.
The magnate will be the first president convicted in a criminal trial in U.S. history for the crime of falsifying business records to silence an affair with former adult film actress Stormy Daniels.
Additionally, during his presidential campaigns, he was the victim of an assassination attempt during a meeting with his supporters, where he only sustained a wound to his ear.
