Miami-Dade County unveiled a new online platform, Strive305, designed to help local small businesses grow and thrive. The initiative, a partnership with Wells Fargo, offers a central hub for entrepreneurs to find training. Also, connect with mentors, explore loan options, and access essential business resources.
Speaking at the launch event held on December 4, at Miami Dade College, Mayor Daniella Levine Cava highlighted the role of small businesses in driving the county’s economy. “Strive305 is much more than an online portal”, said Levine Cava.
Empowering Entrepreneurs with Tools for Success
The Strive305 platform is designed to assist entrepreneurs at every stage of their business journey. Users can find valuable information on how to start and register a company, prepare for unforeseen challenges. And create a sustainable business plan. The portal also emphasizes the importance of networking, seeking mentorship, and ensuring tax readiness.
In addition, Strive305 will offer a virtual incubator for business coaching and mentorship, along with technical assistance sessions that focus on securing funding, effective marketing, and improving business operations.
Continued Investment in Miami-Dade’s Economic Growth
Wells Fargo’s ongoing commitment to small businesses in the region is evident, having already invested $20 million through the Miami Open For Business grant program. Jason Rosenberg, a spokesperson for the bank, shared that Strive305 builds upon this support by offering enhanced access to funding and business expertise.
